driving on saturday night for the first time in a while i noticed the steering becoming stiff then I drove it again today and filled it up but now its empty again and just fixed it for a little while but the problems back
seems to be leaking
help ideas be great?

when you are filling the power steering fluid, make sure the engine is running. that will circulate the fluid so you know what the actual levels are. obviously if you keep losing fluid there must be a leak. good luck.

Check your steering rack.
Steer full to either side and look behind the front wheels, you will see the steering arms.
If the little bellow boots are damp outside that's where your fluid is going.

If the boots are any good then they wont show any signs of leaking.
you can just squeeze the boot if it makes a squelching sound then theres a good chance its the bush/seal in that end of the rack. this is quite common on steering racks, with the amount of pressure the run when the seal starts to wear then they start to slowly leak. Then the "blow" out
Check your hoses from the pump to the rack, and check the clamps on the other hose that leeds back. with upto 2000psi of pressure it doesnt need much for them to leak
