im presuming you have an auto, when was the last time u had your transmision flushed.
also could be the computer it gets a little excited sometimes, disconnect the positive terminal off of the battery and leave it for a few hours then recconect, it will be a bit weird at first but just drive grampa-ish for a few days and it should calm down abit.

How long have you had the car?
and are you the only driver?
The computer will try to adapt to your driving behaviour over time, but if your cars use is erratic it will not really seem consistent. Resetting the computer could help, but it should adjust itself anyway over time.

Go back to where you got the auto done and ask them to check it for you, seeing as its only 4 months old. should still be under warranty.

so if i did this (disconnect battery for few hours) would this solve the problem of our auto tranny (V6 TR) unexpectantly revving
example
ill be accelerating ever so softly, 1900 - 2000 RPM, then, it kicks up to 3200 - 3500 RPM for a second, then goes back down, wait a few more seconds, does same thing, but more aggressive.
would this POSSIBLY solve the problem?

I doubt it. Do you have the A/T mode on Power?? If so, turn it off as this just activates the 'aggressive mode' (in a nutshell). Your throttle position sensor may need some calibration as the computer thinks you want to accelerate quickly.

A/T is off, O/D is on, this only happens in the 1st 5 mins of the car being driven, other then that its fine, or should i inform the mechanic to this?
