Does anyone know what it takes to fit steering wheel audio controls from a KL/KW Verada to a TL/TW VR-X, they run the exact same sound system, why didnt mitsi just release the audio controls on the vrx as well.
sheesh,
btw i'm lazy if you cant already tell
get a head unit with a remote.
im lazy too. i rest my hand on the gear shifter with my audio remote in my hand and control the head unit from there. my hand rests about 10cms away from the buttons on the head unit when i have it on the gear shifter. i think that is quite a lazy effort :)

I got spare audio control section and cover. bolts into a standard wheel but you need a different clock spring.

just a thought...
When i got my clarion deck i forked out an extra 80 bucks and got a steering wheel remote with it... its just an IR remote that only works with the clarion decks and velcros on to your chosen spot on the wheel... but its tiny and well set out - i luv mine...best 80 i spent in AGEZ.
Great to SEE the rumble strips instead of FEELING them trying to tune ur deck!!!

Bah so its you lot that sits on eBay everyday waiting for that steering wheel with radio controls to come on. No wait, the last one was the headlight stalk with the foglight switch, which became almost as expensive as a brand new stalk in the end.

the climate controls no good by itself you also need the heater box and control ecu facia and all the cabling. costs about 1G all up.
really you better off aftermarket cause you still need the clockspring and wiring from the HU. if you got the right head unit allready I can sell you the audio controls and backing cover from the whell. actually cause you dont have airbag you can butcher the clock spring.

Does that mean you've removed the controls but left your clockspring in there???
If The Photographer doesn't take the controls then I will :) And I'll swap you my clock spring for yours (Since all you need is cruise control which I have).

I've been looking for one of these for ages. Do you mind sharing the model number and where you got it from?
Perhaps if you can be bothered, maybe take a picture? Thanks dude.

Yeah the clarion 1 is just a clarion remote (but smaller and wheel mounted!) so id be surprised if it worked with other brands..but i reckon plenty of manufacturers offer something similar...
...(i just luv clarion decks tho!)
