you disables your Dish speakers??
Are they ceramic?? no wonder they sound crap..

I have the JVC KDG615.. Its awesome just powering the Speakers straight off the deck..

What you running down the back ??

Replace the dash speakers with a pair of 4 inch 2-ways it will be worth getting some tunes up front...

hey people..i just booked my car in to get a JVC KD-G515 put in tomorow, but i just found out if rather have the 615 cos than i could hook my ipod up to it..how do u guys find the JVC gear, especially the bloke with the 615, is it worth it? looks good, hows the sound and usability..how much it set u back installed? im looking at 340 for the 515 but i want the 615

Fezza, it is so easy to install a deck.. All you need is a OEM to aftermarket Wiring Adaptor, match up the wiring and you are done..

All JVC decks are unreal Value...
Unless you want to run a Huge system, go the 515,as the only difference is Sub out put which the 615 has..
I have a Big system so I needed the sub out..

the reason i wanted the 615 instead of the 515 is because of the input hole so i can hook up my ipod like i said..in the future i would like to hook up a sub to it also...so i thought why not buy the slightly better one for 30-40 bucks extra? and if i did get the 515 would i be able to hook up my ipod cos it doesnt have the input hole? this is important as most of my songs are on ipod

If you can find another $20 odd dollars, a professional can do it for you. :-)

There's never really too much harm in giving it a go yourself, follow the correct procedures, and you should be fine.
