Hi

I have just purchased a second hand 2003 TL LS Magna and the auto seems a bit sus. It is a bit hard getting into second (no clunking just revs high then releases a bit hard) and when changing from 2 - 3 it seems like it cant make up its mind. But when I drive it hard it she changes just lovely.

It has only done 20k's and still has new car warranty til Feb 07. Can anyone recomend a good auto specialist in Perth?

And has anyone tried out the vaporate system yet? Talking to a few mechanics that have fitted them and they recon that you will prolly get 14 - 18% better efficiency on the car over a year if you keep the injection system clean. Most say they are surprised but this is the first fuel saver that actually works.

Also where can I get a cable and the software from that will allow me to hook up my laptop to my computer on the magna. My mate does it with his 280zx and it is awesome.

cheers fellow magnatites!!!

Welcome to the club mate

Your tranny sounds quite suspect, especially if its only done 20,000 k's
Take it to your local mitsi dealer and get them to look at it for you. Wouldnt surprise me to say the least if the replace it for you. But then again, they may just reflash the computer and it may be fine

What your talking about a cable to connect your laptop to the computer. Are you talking about the interface the dealer uses to "interrogate" your car, if so, i doubt that you could get one. Your mate in his 280 may have an aftermarket computer (eg: Apex'i Power FC, or Greddy e'Manage) which you can plug your computer in and change fuel, timing boost maps e.t.c

Cheers
