Been thinking about doing this for awhile, well today i finally tinted my tail lights. I'm really happy with how they turned out, pic below...even though they seem really dark in this pic they are still quite visable during the day. What do you guys think??

Yeah, they look REALLY dark lol ... but nice :cool:...

Lowered, with mags and tinted windows would top it off nicely ;)

I have been speaking with Tempe Tyres about wheels, getting a set of 18's....i just have 2 decided between 2 sets that i like.
It has pedders super lows in and factory tint, which is starting to blister on the rear window :cry:

about half the can, funny thing was, when i sprayed them i was like...they look ok, then they dried... :redface: :cool:

It does take some will power to know when to stop :P

silver te looks good with the clear lights... but clears arent good on any other colour lol :P

Yep sprayed the whole thing. I only checked brake and indicators yesterday, i didn't go out for the rest of the night, so dunno about reverse lights. I'll be checking how they look when i finish work tonight.

It is the DAY TIME you need to be more worried about.

do they lose much brightness during the day??

Mine isn't as dark, but I can still see it is not as bright as what might be more "acceptable" ... more of a concern to me is not the fuzz, but people not being 'as' aware of my lights... I am getting super paranoid about people hitting me full stop, this does not help during the day... though if you saw my pics from your thread you will see it is not shocking.

Not a fan. I feel it lacks class and leans more towards the "i got wiper neons on my car, I look pimp now" side.

But at least ur car's black and it suits. Same as clear on a silver maggie.

im waiting for someone to rear-end me, and spend a solid hour rubbing all the tint off all fragments of taillights with metho before my insurance finds out.

The main thing is i like them, and untill i have dramas with cops or start getting paranoid about people hitting me, they will stay that way. (not meaning to offend anyone)
I will admit, they are darker than what i was planning but oh well lol

mine were about that dark when i first did them. they've faded a bit though. plus i have clear indimacators too lol

when i do mine, i dont want them to fade, would a coat of clear stop this?

cause like you put in all that effort into tinting i wouldnt want them fading on me!
