Anyway he found a 97 Model Exec V6 Magna for $6500, its done 170k on the clock.
any known issues with these ?

What size is the engine? - mine is 3.0L and has done over 255,000. Needs the timing belt seals replacing soon though. Other than that, has been very reliable.

From the current trends, just be wary of the automatic transmission. Other then that, it depends on the history of the car.
