I am picking up my Ralliart tomorrow and was wondering what would be the basic mods on the vechile to begin with. It is a manual and has 1 yr left on new car warranty so I dont want to void warranty. Thanks.

ECU tweaks mate.. ECU tweaks :)

Anyhow, back on topic.

To the new Ralliart Owner:

1x K&N Panel Filter
1x 2nd CAI intake into your airbox (may void engine warranty)
1x Catback exhaust (dont do this if you want to keep your warranty on your exhaust)
1x Extractors (although i dont think these will make a licking difference) (dont do this if you want to keep your warranty on the engine)
1x Flowed TB (EZBoy does em for $90) - This doesnt add more power, just more response as the air is entering quicker through your TB. (dont do this if you want to keep your warranty on the engine)
1x Suspension lowering - For performance handling i suggest Lows all round and a stiffer shock (KYB) or for a more expensive performance solution: Coilovers. If you want looks then Superlow front and Low rears. (this will void your suspension warranty)
1x Strut Brace
1x Thicker front swaybar
1x Thicker rear swaybar

As you can see, just about anything you do to modify your vehicle can and will void warranty somewhere on the vehicle. If youre worried about voiding warranty, keep it stock till its out of warranty..

yeah also i think Rolliart and TZAboy had big succes with the unichip as they could use the higher compression and slightly larger cams to their advantage for a retune

Hey Glaze
The best place for the swaybars would be Anthony from Philcom Rally (one of the site sponsors). I think its bout $350 plus postage for the two sawaybars  . As for the exhaust, Ringwood Performance Exhaust in New St have a pretty good name. Also some people on this site have used Dandy Exhausts in Dandenong with good results.

Daalder Exhausts in Box Hill.

They do alot of performance exhaust work on cars. Cant recommend them high enough!
