Hey guys, I've never seen how a TH grille is fitted, but I assume its not much of a different setup to the TE/F. If I bought one does anyone know if it will fit straight into the existing clips?

yeh it will fit

the clips are on the mesh of the grill, not the actual grill itself, so i'd say it would be a perfect swap! many people around here have done it (coz its a damn sexier grill!) so i'm guessing there shouldn't be any problems

I have had my grille changed but I had the bumper changed also. I actually thought you would need to do both, as the bumper design is different also, but maybe I am wrong :think: I think the TH bumper protrudes out further than the TE/TF from the grille

Dammit, how do I tell now? I suppose if anyone with a TH is willing to try to swap them over with you to see then you will have a definite answer... I just didn't think it was a matter of a straight swap though they must both sit flush with the headlights on the standard clips... I guess I was mistakened.

All TE/F/H parts are interchangeable. the only difference between the 3 models is slight cosmetic changes TE/F all the same different interior and gear box upgrade iirc and TH has re-done front bar and grille, tail lights, interior change and they started with the 3.5's aswell but it is all straight swap. hope it helps.

Sweet thanx guys.. the TH grille looks heaps better, but I think it will looks HEAPS better with chrome mesh in front of the existing, compared to the TE/F grille, where the mesh actually curves to the shape of the outter edge. I'll be hunting for a cheap TH grille.

only thing is if u r going to buy a grill brand new u need the whole surround aswell they dont sell just the grill .. they sell the grill and the framing around it

Yeah thats what i imagined, the framing on my current grille has been painted far too many times so will be looking for the whole piece.
