U go through the grommets. To get to them from the inside, take off the trim in the footwell and theres a small hole which you may be able to get your hand through.

Easiest way is to open the door, take of the grommet at the door, then feed the wire through, hard work, but you'll get there eventually, just keep applying pressure to the wire and just wiggle the grommet around.

Once you get to the other end, grab the wire through the small service hole and drag it into the car.

Make sure you leave enough slack wire in the door so it doesnt foul the window mechanism

Peace

Tim

From memory, to get the grommet off at the door try using a stanley knife around the edges to lever the plastic clips. make sure you put it back on right, otherwise ul have a door/footwell full of water.

Enjoy swearing at ur car...

f*kin oath!

yep, especially if you have power windows (with the extra cabling through the grommet). Don't ask how long I was sitting on the floor trying to feed the cable through the grommet!

the door grommits are great to work with

i reckon, grab a thin screwdriver and pick up teh plastic things that are holding the rubber tubes in. that way, its heaps eaiser to feed ur wires thru...its putting them back that'll annoy u

don't even try bother using a coat hanger, wire or whatever to feed it thru. you'll waste hours of ur life and keep ripping skin off ur fingers etc.

Hey how did you put those rubber grommet on the car side back onto those plastic things? Or did you actually take those plastic things out, put the rubber grommet over those plastic 'cage' and then pop the cage back in??? And you did this without removing the door and quarter panel too ?

On a similar topic, do people seal off that grommet on the firewall side? I've got a fairly big tear on it now and it really doesn't look healthy. I want to put silicon over it, but then the thing is I plan to add more cabling through it in the future....
