Ok... When I got my car blueslipped the engineer told me the engine was missing badly so check my electricals. First thing i did was the leads and it fixed the power somewhat but its still missing, is there a cheap and easy way to attempt to fix the rest.

Also... sometimes the car "kicks" when it shifts between gears. Now when i got the starter clutch fixed about a year ago now the gearbox guy said the rest of the box was fine... was he wrong or is there another explanation.

In regards to your misfiring engine, have you checked the distributor cap?

When you did the leads did you change the spark plugs too? usually they are the first cause of missing here and there, and yeah check the dissy cap.. cant hurt to check fuel filter and air filter too while ya at it.

i agree, plugs would have been on the top of my list
