the roof ratteling is a pain in the A$$....
i've tried it all...moving the subs around,,even on backseats facing the driver.....the rattle is so bad the low bass sound u should hear is this tin hitting tin effect...
i'm fed up...i love the wagons, but next car for me is going to be a sedan...
i don't wana pull the roor apart as my dad would kick my ass.....
well one i will own a sedan with my 2 x12" explods with no rattle...well maybe a lil....
but till that day comes....it's trebal all the way!!!!!!!

Dude...chill...i had a TS wagon with a decent fusion system...
when u get sum spare time...turn ya system on...close all d doors so its like ya driving...then hold down all different panels until u find the one that stops ratteling...let me know and ill see how u can go about fixing it...it mite b able cause of titening a screw...bit of silicone or sum fabris behing a panel!
i just have 6x9'z. no subs....and my roof vibrates somewhere between where the mirror is and where the interior light is, (TR, Sedan.)
any ideas?

the rattle is right above the wagon centre light..i had to really push down hard to fix it...
the explod's were within my budget and it was when i was first getting into car audio...so i guess they were there to buy so i did...stupid decision but lifes full of em....
wana get all alpine...maybe some S's....R's are a bit to $$$$
got alpine for headunits all the way... subs n amps are all right.. dun much like the speakers though, unless u r going DDDrives... yum.
Just find every screw you can and tighten it, helped heaps with my doors.
As for xplod, you coulda done a lot worse for your first sound system. I know ppl that have gone all axis (as far as they can), which is hell worse than xplod.

Pull ya light off..fully...try that...if it doesnt stop the rattles look around for exactly where the rattle is...
Sounds like a lil bit of silicone would b the job...if u get beta subs, expect more rattles...and id recommend pioneer 100% of d way!

The roof rattling is probably what I had.
Take your roof lining off and there is a beam that runs the middle of the roof. This is supposed to be siliconed up so it doesnt rattle..but the original stuff had perished and cracked away to nothing. So I simply got more silicone and fixed it up...and voila! Never had a roof rattle since.
