Yeah I removed mine to put in the towbar, they are not that hard, firstly get a blanket around the work area so you dont scratch it.
You need, star head screwdriver, 10mm socket and rachet, pair of plyers for the plastic grommets if they get stuck.
From memory you need to remove the rear tailights firstly. Use 10mm socket for this.
Also in the boot you will need to peel back the sides of the black covers, use plyers if you cant remove the grommets holding in the cover stuff, you should see screws that run along an edge, these connect to the top of the bumper, remove these with screwdriver.
You also have a fair few screws and clips running along the complete bottom edge of the bumper and the tyre well, remove these.
Also if you have mudflaps, then remove these also.
At this point you need a friend to hold the bumper up so it dont twist and crack the paintwork, I am pretty sure there are those plastic screws up inside the bumper above where your towbar goes, I think there are two flaps with about three of these each, these should be the last to be removed, the bumper should come away from the vehicle.
Thats all I can really remember, its been over a year since I did it, but as I said it is not that hard, and with a mate even easier.

Here is a pic without the bar so you can see the holes that run along the top edge under the boot.
