Has anyone had a problem where the fuel guage will drop to empty (you actually watch it fall) even though you have half a tank or so of fuel?

Any fixes?

it's a defective fuel sender unit....just go to any mitsubishi dealership and get it replaced.
i had the same problem a while ago driving from grafton to brisbane and was thinking **** i'm losing petrol and was weird how the car still runs while the gauge shows empty about 70km from brisbane.
