i just finished installing an auto roll up module for my power windows.
so when i lock my car the windows close on there own.
i know its not a must have but i like little things like that.......not everyone has them lol.

i bought the kit from ebay for like $40 and it looked like a real pain to fit so it sat here for about 2 months just looking at me till i decided stuff it ill try it

took me a day and a half to do but now that i have done it it would prob take me a couple of hours to do
so now all i do is when i leave my car i press the cental lock button and my car locks and the windows go up one by one and she is all secure lol.
all the wireing fits in the drivers door so no ripping the whole car apart it runs off the main lot of switches on the drivers door.

couldnt you just lift the little power window surround off the drivers door, wire it up right where the plugs are and then just push the module into the door though where the power window surround was? or was the module too big to fit?

but the door skin had to come off so you can hook the trigger wire up to the central lock so it activates the roll up.

not totally wat i was saying in my previous post. what i was meaning is do you have to take the door skin off. you answered that in your reply though :)

hmm there should be another way around it to avoid even having to take the door skin off.

97_verada: type in power window in ebay and youll see the kit come up. 30 dollars plus 10ish postage.

yeah john it does have to come off the wire to make the unit activate (to roll windows up ) is located at the bottom of the door on the inside when the central lock locks it sends a pulse to the module and it starts the action.

it even works as a safety device while driving incase of attack if your sitting at lights just flick the lock inside the windows roll up aswell. found out by accident lol.
