Driving home after work this afternoon, everything seems fine and dandy, until someone starts hammering thier horn at me... I checked my mirrors, and see a huge cloud of smoke behind me, that's not going away, then suddenly the revs fly up, but the car doesn't accelerate, there's an awful burning smell in the cabin and to top it all off, the steering wheel and pedals start shaking like mad.

I pulled into a side street, turned off, got out and ran away... About 10 mins later, I got back in, and it started up like nothing had ever happened...

Anyone got any ideas?

I think you just did your first burnout :badgrin: On a more serious note, I would get the transmission checked out pronto.
