i did this in about 4 hours. i have a bit more work to do before it looks pro. however it got too dark tonight. i spent about $200 on everything, plus $200 for the sub box which fits perfectly.

im going to make those side boards vertical as opposed to on a slant to get rid of gaps.
it is just vinyl wrapped around MDF Board.

yeh get rid of those gaps and it'll look mint.

the subs are in a box and the circles are just cut from a separate face plate. ... if thats what you meant.

The Sony XPLOD subs ruin the night time effect, Is it possible to coat them with that Dissapearing Black light Ink so they will glow at night ??? Or See if you cannot get a Dark light reactive Coat of some sort to make them stand out

yeh guys. im going to get some sub sensitive neons for around teh subs. the ring ones. that should look good. hopefully.

Make sure you get the right color.. Blue would be the Best bet..
Just make sure you wire them up to continually Stay on as the Music Reactive thing can look ricey..

Look into upgrading the subs eventually to ones that are white... it would look majorly cool.. I believe JVC do a White conned sub...
Please try an Shoot a small Vid once you get the neon Tube rings done !!

Looks great; however, you may want to clean up the holes where the subwoofers can be seen..they seem a little edge, get sandpaper out and smooth it up a bit and it'll look twice as good. Also, get some new subs :P

it all pulls out in about 2 seconds. so spare tire is easily accessed.
