Can you fit a K&N Pod filter inside the stock airbox?
Id plan on modifying the box for the CAI but id like to keep it as stock appearing as possible to keep the pleece off my back. a custom box asks for unwanted attention.
ALSO (i tried search first)
Is there a major flow difference betwenn a panel and a pod providing both are being fed with a CAI.

Pod NO, Panel YES. The stock airbox isn't a box as such. That is to say it's seperate pieces of plastic which "sandwich" the Panel filter to form a sealed box. As far as I can tell - these two pieces of plastic would require modifying to enable them to form a sealed box without the Panel Filter in place - and even then probably wouldn't be large enough to house a K&N Pod filter.
You're better off either going with a panel filter with CAI piping replacing the stock snorkel if you don't want to f*ck around too much - or if you have your heart set on a POD in a box, look at what members such as EZboy have done.

I didnt think it would fit.
And i dont mind the screwing around, but if theres not much difference between panel and pod i may just get a panel and save myself the screwing around.
