Err, the Hon-duh I'm driving has scored a couple of problems, and I've got no idea on what's causing it.

It's missing under 2,000rpm, and suddenly loses power above 4,000. The leads were replaced recently, but the problem showed up well after.

Any ideas, besides fire, or high explosives?

What model is it?

Our dualcarb 1983 Prelude (only 50,000 kms) does the same thing;
stalls if you floor it until its properly warmed up. Turning off the a/c helps a little.
No idea what causes it, even a whole new carb pair don't fix it.

ECU might be faulty.. mate had this problem and anything above 4500rpm in his vs commodore and the engine lost power severe. He bought a new chip for it and was all better then
