Does anyone know where I can get some paint to spray over a few scratches on the vinyl on the inside of my car. I have looked but can't find anything. It is the smokey gey blue, not the navy blue colour that's what has made it more difficult. Shops in Perth would be great otherwise shops as I'm in W.A.

whilst on effectively the same topic..
i'm interested in fixing up my console -its scratched and looks low-rent because the navy blue plastic sucks. what i'd like, is to find some vinyl -same as the stuff used on the dash and do the console with it.

is the stuff still available? anyone know where i'd find a square meter of the stuff and perhaps a rough costing of vinyl from anyone who's worked with it.
i'm also in Perth.

If you can find the same colour, use VHT Vinyl Dye. Pretty much the best thing on the market.

would this stuff work to cover the scratches and scuff marks on my glovebox?

yeah, vinyl paint would- if the scratches aren't deep. most of scratches on my console/glovebox only show because the plastic turned white-ish because of the stress of contact. for nasty scratches i'd clean it up a little with very fine wet n dry sand paper before painting.

but if you can't find the right shade of paint -you'll have to almost do everything else for it to match properly.
