just in case your interested the TL/TW VRXs came out with a leather wrapped hand brake lever. I went to order one from Mitsubishi and there only around $70! only catch theres none in Australia, so I have to wait. hopefully will match the leather interior wheel and shifter. but before you rush out and get one I cant be sure it will fit the earlier models but I'll keep you posted when I get it. :)
Nice, might get one for my KF Verada, it has leather seats and steering wheel but not handbrake

Nice find.

Do they come in a variety of colours? or just black?

Is there anyone out there who'd care to post a pic?

This may also fit 2nd gens... from memory the 3rd & 2nd gen handbrake levers are almost the same... right? Not sure about mounting though.

Yeh.. i'm like 90% sure they're the same... just need confirmation that the mounting method is identical. The actual lever/boot/button are the same.

well the originial post and price for $70 was 2.5 years ago

so that price times 2.5 = close to its current price

it's also not for a brand new car anymore, its for a 'retired' car, so probably adds more to the cost

When did you get this quote FamilyWagon? They quoted my $90 to re-leatherize my gear lever in November or December last year. I got my Ralliart steering re-leatherized instead (for more money of course).

I picked one of these up a few months ago, for $197. It's quite nicely finished, but my only complaint is that the leather is a different grain to the other leather parts I've got; it's a much co****r leather, whilst my ex TJ wheel and shifter are smooth.
