Hi,
Probably a really dumb question.....is the measurement of a wheel (16", 17", 18" etc.) radius or diameter...ie...from the centre out or across the whole width?
I have my eyes on ROH Fury's, whats better....17" or 18" for a TF?
Cheers.

omfg.... is that a serious question?!?!?
the 17" means total RIM diametre... not a 34" wheel bud...
18"s are the go for TF's...

I have got 17" ROH's on my TE as that is the biggest my insurance compony would allow so check b4 you put the wheels on as you might have to change compony's.

Don't be too hard on him dude, you'll scare him off :P
The bigger the better (within reason), but check with your insurance company and state law first in case they impose limits on you.
And make sure your tyres, when you get them, have the appropriate load rating or you'll be unroadworthy.

I've got a set of AMG 18's on my Verarda AWD and I finding it is chewing out the inside of the tyres something shocking.

I changed to Shannons, membership of this forum is considered car club membership by them. Unlimited mods provided they are legal and a new window per year if it is broken, gues who broke a rear screen with tint... cost me nothing to get fixed and re-tinted!

sounds like an alignment issue.

Negative no issues with the alignment, I'm talking a grove in all 4 tyres only 3/4 of the way around the circumference. This is worse than my VYII SS Commodore though the tyres are last three times as long on the Verarda compared to the dunnydore.

I've had 17's on an Altera since 2000 and only changed the tyres once! You obviously have a problem ernysp76.

Hey Thanks for that picture, yours is almost identical to mine except for the white side skirts. The 17" dont look bad at all. Is yours lowered?
