Well on the weekend the car developed a strange rattel in the CAT. So i pulled it out and two peaces of metal, 5cm by 4cm came out. I did not think that was good. I looked down the pipe and the magna exhaust has turning vanes in the colector to help air removal, two of those came loose and hit the CAT. A little damage but HAY, can mitsubishi get anyhting right?

My car has a funny note from just under the drivers feet, sounds like a little hole in the exhaust but I can't find an exhaust leak. I am suspecting the catalytic converter or loose baffles...

Any ideas or do all magna's sound like this? Could it be the flexi pipe part of the exhaust?

Just take it back to them. Of course after putting everything back together. Another warranty claim.
