Hey guys I need to change the Auto Tranny oil in my TR. What brand of oil is reccomended/good ? Do i need to change the tranny oil filter as well ?

I take it this is oil for a transmission and not a transvestite?

Recommended oils specs are in your handbook. Meet &/or exceed this specification rating and you will be fine

do a search you will find loads of info. fyi, castrol tqm-st was what mitsu used for 3rd gens.

I heard that 3rd gen Magnas could just use the oil by Mitsubitshi as its is very suitable and its reasonably cheap. Priced at $27.50 for 5L

Castrol TQM-ST was recommended in the Castrol oil chart, however it is quite costly. about $30.00+ for 5L.

Check around but I think the Mitsubitshi recommended trans oil would be good enough.
