Hey guys
I have a yellow 86 TM GLX that i want to sell. The gear box is basically gone, however apart from that the car is in 100% mechanical order with the engine having only done 60 000kms (it was replaced in 1994). The seats and interior are in immaculate condition as are almost all of the exterior body panels and fittings. Im keen to get rid of the car, so am prepared to negotiate a very low price. The car is located in Sydney and has rego until September 26th. If ur interested or have any questions, you know where to post.
Cheers

Seriously, if anyone is interested in a near new astron II engine, then this would suit. Anyone can have the car for $500. Thats a complete car with near new engine and many valuable parts.

lol, i might just have to keep it in storage if knowbody is intersted. If that is the case, i wonder if i would be able to put that engine into my GJ sigma? Its got a 2.6 astron in it, but it doesn't deliver as much power as my magna. It would be real good if the engines where interchangeable, since the astron II has such low kms on it, and its such a shame to see it wasted.

gj, ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm. cant remember
if the sigma is fwd, u can do it.
if its rwd. its a headache to install, and u may as well get a sigma for 50$ with a 2.6 for the cost.
i'd fix the gearbox man, to good a car to waste.

Well i will put it into storage, but i wont get it re-registered. Its not really worth it as areas of the body are not in good condition due to rust + i cant really afford it as i just got my new sigma. But hey, the engine is in A1 condition and there are still lots of valuable parts there :). Id keep it if the parts where interchangeable with the sigma, but sadly ive found they are not

The engine only has 60000kms on it. As it needed to be replaced after an accident which was mid way through the cars life. But since the gear box is gone and the car has had rust im sick of it. I couldnt be bothered doing an engine transplant. I figured someone else more enthusiastic would want it for that purpose :doubt: .
