i have a pioneer mp3 deck (DEH-P4650MP) and ive just bought a 12" clarion sub and a pioneer amp, it sounds crap coz i dunno wot settings to do on the deck. any help would be much appreciated :cry:

trial and error is the way to go.

Ok what do you mean sounds crap ? too much Bass, Or can you hear lyrics through the sub??

What amp is powering the Sub What gain setting on the amp??
What RCA Line have you used.??.
What are your Current settings?
What type of enclosure is the sub in ??

If you want a hand dude, just shout out, can come have a look at the settings youve got, but yeh its mostly trial and error. Pioneer decks arnt the hardest to setup, most likely a prob with how the entire systems laid out.

yeh cheers guys, ill probly get gazza to hab look wen i see him at the drags, dunno if ill keep the sub in there though, less weight
