Alright..
Just wondering whether its worth spending the money in getting a K&N Panel Filter for this car. I don't want to be modifying anything in the engine bay of the Verada, also would not really be wanting to modify anything in the TF. The Verada is the GTV, comes with the Lukey Muffler standard, is it a good combination? Will I feel a power difference?
Cheers

You probably see a small benefit once the revs gets over 4000ish rpm, the stock paper filters are a little restrictive. I feel it's something handy to do if you're doing mods which increase flow but if you're not doing anything else, then whether it's worth while is up to you. You'll probably save money if you keep the car for a long time.

Probably wont notice a huge difference...a little free-er in the high revs as Redav said. And possibly a little louder in the induction noise.
Still it's worth it...you dont have to buy another filter ever again ;)

Well.. The car is serviced regularly by Zupps Mitsubishi - Mt Gravatt, been taking care of all of our cars.. since the good old Sigma GLX. You reckon they wouldn't mind installing it for me when next service is up?
Cheers

I doubt you'll even get more noise/music with just a replacement panel filter.

Yeah, I didn't. You can swap it yourself. It's really a 1 minute job. Undo the twp clips, slide out the paper filter, slide in the K&N filter, do up the two clips. Easiest thing to do.

Have decided against it at the moment.. Time to find me a job, so that I can actually afford one of these for each car without having a $11 bank balance. Give it a few weeks.. May be in luck..
Cheers all..

There is a slight increase in air induction sound and a nicer smoother free engine, and as killybilly said a replacement paper unit from mitsubishi is like $80 anyway and you have to replace those not just clean them
