I was in the local REPCO (Rip Every Poor C*#t Off) store today and saw a catalogue that came out today, they are clearing a lot of their current car audio stock and some is being sold off at bargain prices like the VDO cd tuner I got today for $79, this is stock only so get in quick.

I rang repco and some other places today about fuel Injectors.

$289 Deposit - Get 4 new reconditioned injectors.
Only pay $153 total when you bring your old ones in..

Does this sound fair?

Otherwise each Injector $232 brand new.

Also rang UltraTune - they said they will install them for $120

it was all a load of rubbish went in first thing and they said it was all sold out (clearance items!!) my ass, they put it in there to get people in the door, !!!!!!
it was mainly Blaupunkt stuff...i wanted the portable dvd palyer with screen for $99!!!!!!

is blaupaunkt a good brand. they have in car dvd deck for $99 and 5.55" lcd for $99 at repco. wat u guys think

Blaupunkt is a great brand, except that stuff would be lower-range junk that should be sold at your local Woolworths.

Guys, there is no point. I drove around to 3 repco stores today, (malaga, balcatta, and osbourne park) and they were all sold out :(

I wanted to get that blpnked dvd with screen for $99 but i was to damn late. I got a pair of ex60 kicker 6" for $49 i thought they would be good but arent.

O well, ill put them in my mums car since her stock ones are blown.

lol there is a huge thread about this on OCAU i went into repco on tuesday to find out about it. Turns out there where 4 of the screens in the entire of victoria. It was pure bait advertising. heaps off ppl are *****ing to the ACCC now.

I can get some of the gear that is advertised, but then i am ringing country NSW stores, and i was lucky enough to get a guy on the phone who was prepared to search the computers and tell me which stores in NSW and QLD had stock of what.
I was told most stock of the $79 VDO CD tuners in NSW, was in stores in the central west, southern NSW or in the ACT, that was this afternoon. go get em guys!!

I think i need to go check out the dvd deck.. They are a straight fit in to the Ford ICC..

in victoria ppl rang up and the onyl store that had stock was ringwood. then when they were rung it had all been sold out..

this is BEFORE the sale started..

Theres only 1 good thing left that some stores might have.. the Kicker 12" CVR122 sub.. which retails for $300+ and they are selling for $99.. The one in nunawading even had One. But i wanted 2 and couldnt be bothered anyway..

the rest of the junk was pretty crap. It was pretty much jus a few items for sale on a table.. bastards! lol
