Hey,

Does everyone know the weather seal under the bonnet near the wiper end, where it basically sits above the firewall. well mine appears to be a little loose in some spots, does this really affect water getting in, as when the bonnet is closed it appears as it's sealed well.

Am just wondering if anyone else has had this, and maybe just ripped it off and fixed it with some double sided tape?

If you mean the one atop the engine side of the firewall - that's an air seal to stop engine fumes getting across to the plenum that the wipers sprout from - its not about water. AFAIK its a float fit - not an exact, tight fit.
