i get a decent amount of this styuff free from work.. it's to protect stuff in transit... duh.. anyway, i swear recording studios (cheap crappy ones) are filled with this sort of stuff? would it do the trick for the boot(even other places?) of my car?

Isn't that just foam with mountains on it? If so, that's not going to do a thing.

actually it might.

it will stop reflections happening behind your speaker, but i definately won't use it as 'sound deadening' coz it weighs less than all the pubes i have.

Also...i dunno how well that stuff will soak water, so yeh, possible problem u might encounter. Definately invest in som dynamat or roadkill extreme ;)

I used that foam to try and stop vibrations, didn't work for me, but if it works for you by all means tell me as it's cheaper than ~$150 worth of stinger roadkill

I have that in my doors behind my drivers. It stops reflections back onto the driver and stops standing waves in your door. So definetely try it out.

You can buy it from jaycar for fairly cheap.
Use Spray adhesive, make sure you dont have it too close to the bottom of the door as it will soak up water that pools there. At least if its mounted higher yes it will still get wet, but it will have a chance to dry,
I also put deadener behind it to stop the doors rusting from the wet foam, and because these will do nothing for rattles/resonance.

If you want cheap SD, get the bostik back.
24 sheets for like 65 bucks and its enough to door your boot, doors, and anything else you prob gotta do.
