Hey guys, i am wondering although its not a magna i have a problem with my car that when the air con is working the car
-- at times drives beautifully no probs at all,
-- othertimes when stationary engage a gear and try to take off, touch accelerator it stalls
-- sometimes switches off when in neutral and stationary and engage air conditioner.

This only started happening recently.

The car is a 1989 Ford Laser TX3 1.6L Single Cam EFI Engine Manual.

Any suggestions?

I have tried
- increasing revs in idle
- increasing revs with ac on
- both above
- TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) Connected
- TPS Disconnected
- Battery and charging systems all good
- AC Gas good as sometimes it runs all well

You have not checked your idle stepper motor, sound like this might need a clean or dead

Yep, symptomatic of an idle speed controller failure
