Your question doesn't really make sense, dude. Unless you're asking whether they are SOHC, DOHC MIVEC, or DOHC heads, in which case the answer is SOHC.

nah i was just wondering coz i was gonna get some headers. pacemaker make em but have listed them for the 3rd gen 3L and 3.5L engines. i have a 2nd gen V6 SOHC not sure if they would match. if its the SOHC in the 3rd gen it should fit then.

the 2nd gens are a 2 valve per cylinder design SOHC, where as the 3rd gens are a 4 valve per cylinder SOHC, as far as i know the 3rd gen headers will not fit on your second gen

No mate the extractors will not fit, even if they bolted up which they do not they would be pointing out under the front of your front bar as the engine is the other way round.
