Ok so I own a Ralliart. I've been getting this weird shudder in the car when braking at high speeds (100km/h+) I can feel it in the steering wheel and hear it aswell, my missus even said she could hear it this morning driving her to work. Any ideas?

maybe it's ur wheel bearings. in not a mechanic but its just a thought

I'd say your wheel alignment or balance??

What condition are your brakes(pads/discs) in?
Might have worn pads? and its hitting the discs? or there not fitted properly if you had them done recently? Wheel alignment recenlty?

What do you mean from braking from 100K, to a complete stop or down to 90/80 ?

If this was the bearings and they 'cause that affect' you would feel it everywhere you go, so id rule them out.

But you own a RalliArt, Id get it looked at by a mechanic asap to keep it in good condition

warped discs or discs/wheels not mounted properly etc. Try re-fitting the disc rotors and wheels.
If that fails to fix the problem, then machine the rotors..

i had the shudder problem when my brakes were worn down to about %20 if you apply pressuer to just feel the breaks they started to pulse and the stearing wheel moved a bit as well

I would say that your disc's need machining, as it only happens when your under brakes.
maybe even replace them with slotted ones. While your at it change your brake pads aswell, or have them surfaced if they've still got a good amount of material on them.

I'm with TFV630.. most likely the case when you experience shudders under braking. Maybe the discs are slightly warped which is caused by excessive heat on hard consistant braking.. see how ya go.

Thanks guys. I'm fairly certain it's warped discs. I'll get them machined next service it gets I spose... till then it's not really a major deal...

Just a hint for the future dont hose your brakes if youve been out driving, that can cause them to warp aswell. always let them cool for a bit first.

Make Sure You Get Them Machined On Car Not Off
Also Get Rack Ends Checked Can Cause Same Sort Of Problem

Why? I've had discs machined off car and they have felt perfect.

your discs are warped.. pretty common with standard stuff on cars these days.. take your discs out and have them machine.. i think its only $10-$15 per disk to do.. ur car will be like new again.. :D

If its still under warranty it is a warranty item.. :D

just reminded me of my bro's commie. It was doing the same thing so we took it to the mechanics.

One of the brake pads was missing a bolt and was flapping around
