Hiyu all....
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any differences between a 2000 TJ and KJ Wagons suspention configuration......I have just upgraded to a KJ and it seems to be alot softer than the TJ, was curious if they have used softer springs and shockies in the KJ, or are they on thier last legs......anyone know the answer?
the veradas do have a softer suspension setup due to it been the luxury line.

Cool....thought so - only explanation as to why the front end lunges up and down so much!! - dont like it, prefer the TJ stock setup.....anyone know to what extent the suspention is softer, is it softer shockies, different spring rates, or both, anything different when it comes to sway bars?.........spose it would be quite pricey to swap whats needed to get it somewhere near the TJ setup, I dont mind soft suspention, but the front of the KJ's are a touch too floaty for me!!
Any suggestions on what could be done to make her better, but still keep it within factory specs of whats fitted to the TJ?

I have a near new pair of factory TJ sedan sports front springs and a near new set of factory TJ2 wagon front and rear springs.
The wagon springs have done under 100kms, they were removed cos i fitted a set of kings super lows into a mates wagon. Oh and also verada's have different valving in the shocks which gives them a different (smoother) ride.

Thanks for that guys! - now I just need to find a full set of TJ springs to swap over!, for me personally, the springs in the KJ are far too soft, the front end bounces up and down way too much......I think I might keep the same shocks, unless they are contributing the the rolly polly ride, in which case, i think the bank (insert partners name here) will put a stop to me doing the works to it!!
now, just need to find a set of springs......cheap!

Okay guys, does anyone know where I can get real specs on all this, spoke to Mitsu yesterday, they wernt alot of help, just said that there is no difference in the springs in the TJ\KJ's, its the valving in the shocks that is different.
They said there spring rates are colour coded - but they had no idea which colour codes went with the TJ\KJ, even went to confuse me even more by saying some cars can have a difference in sprins rates from one side of the car to the other - some cars are not even in wieght distribution from drivers side to passenger side........bloody hell, I just want it to be firmer in the front end
gonna drop back in after work today, Mr Bob Sims is gonna take it for a drive if he is available when I get there, and see what he has to say about it!!
