$530 - monroe GT's and Kings from super cheap and $40 for a set of spring clamps. (do it my damn self)

which way should i go?

Oh and im open for suggestions for places that can do it and not want body parts as payment.

did they quote you per set? or did that price include 4 springs and 4 shocks?

just a note if ur going to do them ur self dont forget to buy a bump stop service kit to go with the struts, which is the rubber dust seal and fresh bump stop just replaced all my suspenion. monroe gt series 15 up front and bump stop kit and monroe gt series 35 at the back with bump stop kit, all from repco. price i paid was $460 front struts $80 bump stop kit, and $200 back struts $60 for bump stop kit, sprigs were in good nick and didnt need replacing.i only have basic tools eg sockets, spaners,spring compressers and a few jacks. i recon should do it ur self it takes a bit of time if u havent done it before but its not hard and ull save a few hundred in labour costs. thats where they rip u off the most for example before i was with my gf she had a ford telstar that needed the back suspension replaced and was charged $700 for it when the most she would need to pay for materials is $300 at the most .

They did mine, got a very nice price because I do all their computer maintenance etc., They have looked after my friends in the past. Cant hurt to enquire...

and they used kings and monroes, i forgot to mention

but they can do other stuff i suppose.
