guys i finally got an muffler for my diamante but it dosent sound the way i want'd it 2 its a magnaflow u can barely hear it is there anything i can do to make it sound louder and deeper please help

mod the crap out of your engine and it'll sound lound lol

seriously though, I've got a full 3" exhaust on mine with a resonator and a muffler that isn't quite a canon but definately isn't a wide-body muffler and it's loud as all hell. If you want noise, increase the diameter of your exhaust! But be careful you don't make it too droney :( mine is a bit droney, and I'm going to replace the rear muffler with a centre offset wide-body style to try and help out.

Is the muffler a straight through type or is it chambered?

Well can you look straight through the muffler? If not it is chambered. Then I would suggest a straight thru type for more noise, if thats what you want.

Well if it is straight through then it should be loud. If you want louder get rid of the resonators, there are a couple. Then you can upgrade to larger diameter piping as well.

well does it get bigger than 4"

I mean the exhaust piping, not the size of the muffler. Get full 2.5" Mandrel bent cat-back with no resonators if you want it louder.

i tryed lookin for a cat back but never found 1 for my car

is there a way i can take out the resnatar bymyself

cat-back means new piping from the cat converter back to and including the rear muffler.. for more noise, get the exhaust centre to take out the resonator under the back seat area approx.. this will increase volume. But I have a straight-thru lukey exhaust and its plenty loud.

yeah, hack saw, but ya need new pipe to replace resonator and weld it neat.

ook so it is by the back seat i will look at it and c what i can do well anyways the guys that welded my muffler did it sucky but hey what ever all i want for my car to be droped 2" in front maybe 3" and 1.5" in back sound awesome turbo and some new insides because i dont like the whole brown leather look with wood grain trim "MAN HOLDEM UP" i want black leather back seats and the front to black racing seats where the wood grain trim is i want some carbon fiber look to it and the throw some gauges in the inside and to finish the outside lambo doors midnight black paint and finally some white neons in the grill and under my car so if yall know anyone in the states or texas that can help or even ship it over i would appreciate it and i think my diamante would look sweet

not being mean but, your not going to get a turbo, you can drop it. dont take out the leather, keep the woodgrain, not to mant gauges... and why the hell did you get a diamante/magna? you should have went with a honda civic/ chevy cavalier. something ricey cuz your a disgrace to all diamante/magna owners...
