well i disconnected the battery coz i was doin sum minor electrical work in my car. had it disconnected for bout 2 hours. i know that the ECU resets itself so when i hooked every thing back up i went for a drive so my ecu can learn my driving habbits. i was taking it easy. jus cruzing at 80, wasnt takeing of hard or reving it much but when the gear changes for 2nd to 3rd it jerks a bit. like if its reving at 2000rpm it will raise up to 2500rpm and change the gear with a jerk. nay ideas in wats happening. is this normal till the car is used to my driving or did i do sumting. all i did was hook up a tacho. so that wouldnt stuff any thing up will it???
Cheers

I always let the car idle for 10mins before driving it after having disconnected the battery - and I've never noticed any issues with gear changes when I drive it.
Maybe try that next time?
