is this worth buying was looking at it today

and would this suit my future planning of two splits and possibly two subs in the future

I've seen it myself too, good looking deck and good features, And I saw it on Special at Autosalon Newcastle last week for $696.
If you're just after a deck that plays music and has similar features minus OEL display, and looks ok, I'd go the DEH-P5750, and for sub $400 is a good value deck. But if you want a nice OEL display as well, then the 8650 is good too, but costs a lot extra.

RRP $1,299.00 inc GST taken from Doran Pro, www.doranproaudio.com.au At $650 its an absolute steal, awesome head unit, wish I had a spare $650 ;aying around!!

i think i'll go in tomorrow and see how long it will be at that price for

dunno bout the 8650, but the 9650 being sold for $1099 at strathfield.com.au

I got the 7750 for $380. Great deck. Having a great time with it at the moment.

Just check eBay. Most that are being sold on there are going way below cost price. And if they come from Asia its no biggie, just ask for it to be signed as a gift and bam. No import tax. :D

i think the rrp on the 8650 has just dropped recently, it used to be around $1300 but now gone down to around $1000, a bit less I think!

it could be the US version, its just the number i found on their site as i forgot the code form the shop and i knew it was 86 something

I don't know about their head units.. Me and my mates have had nothing but RCA earthing problems with em'

Stupid morons at the pioneer factory (after getting the problem fixed) said that I should be careful when installing it.. little did they know I got a Car Audio place to do it.

got my eye on a couple of subs aswell from there pretty cheap and all boxed

hopefully i can get a discount on them in a few months though
