Can some one help me pin point the vaccum hose(s) on a 2.6 Astron in a TR.

If you have a photo of your engine or someone elses could you please post it and circle where these hoses are, Also the O2 sensor.

Also the PCV Valve

PCV valve is in the rocker cover

The 02 sensor is in the front engine pipe, look down from the front it is easy to see

The vacum hoses, there is a pressure reg hose, this goes from your fuel rail (regulator) to a pipe just before the throttle body on the manifold. There is also a hose for the carbon canister and one for the brake (oops sorry break as some call it :bowrofl: ) booster. None others that I can think of

if you are asking about a EFI 2.6 then the vaccum hoses are as follows
1. PCV hose, runs from centre rear of inlet manifold to pcv valve (LHS of rocker cover) *this hose becomes brittle and often breaks when touched*
2. charcoal canister purge hose, runs from above the throttle body to a solenoid valve on firewall then to the charcoal canister under the brake booster.
3. the fuel pressure regulator vacuum signal hose,
4. and finally the vac hose for the brake booster.
the rest of the hoses on the manifold are for coolant

Any idea on how much a new O2 Sensor will cost? (average price)

'The Mitsubishi oxygen sensor performs a very simple function that your car simply can't do without. The Mitsubishi oxygen sensor detects residual oxygen in your car's exhaust. By sending that little piece of data to the computer, the Mitsubishi oxygen sensor gives your engine a ton of information on how well it's running, and what it needs to do to run more efficiently.'
