hey peeps :D

ok, ive FINALLY got around to getting some sub woofers...

2x12" CS2228 (http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=CS2228&CATID=&keywords=cs2228&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=) Subwoofers, with a Response something something amp... lol

anywho, whee, thats grand i know :D

now, onto the Q & A part of me thread...

The response amp is 450Wrms... currently running BOTH subs...
First question is, if i use a 350Wrms amp, and have one amp (450Wrms) running one and the 350Wrms amp running the other, will this be a bad thing? or good?

Second one is... Im keeping my stocko ralliart setup (the eclipse gear, 7CD indash stacker, sub preout, 14 Speaker yadda yadda) BUT....

IS there a chip or something i can buy so the fooker plays mp3's?

i know i dont really need mp3 with the 7 stacker... but still, ive got some PHAT techno oin mp3 format... 9 cd's on one disk... and i CBF burning them all off...

cheers in advance guys...

Chris

OK.. No chip to change Non MP3 Player to MP3 Player..

The setup should be OK.. it is Jaycar.. Do not expect miracles..

my only real question is will the smaller amp make the 2nd lub lag at all...

In all possibilities Yes..
Subs should be Fed the same signal at the same power level..preferably off one amp..

do you rrreallly need two subs? Just get one sub with your current amp...or get that 800wrms one to power both subs.

there's no problem with powering two subs with two different amps. that kind of stuff bugs me, but most people probably wouldn't mind.

If you want to use 12" subs for Jungle, you'd want to fit them into a sealed box for maxmimum transient response.

The jungle drums beat loud for Teh Seafood now.

He swing on vine and beat chest hard. Jungle music in back of his Magna beat loud for all to hear.

'Got any jungling guy?'
