does anyone know where or how you can convert the ash tray in a TS Magna 2 a drink holder???

just pull the ash tray out, simple as that, ur drinks should fit in the hole, well only 1

yeah done that but maccas cups tend 2 slip down :cry: and make one hell of a mess.lol

you should ask madmagna (mal), He has put one in, in his KR.

havn't had any issues with maccas drinks yet. It holds cans the best though.

Mal's cup holders are actually from the Diamante, and sits just above the climate control. However I think this mod can only be done on those with the automatic climate control with the different facia.

Yeah, i'm building a custom middle console for my first gen (TP) soon which will hold cans, bottles, and mcdonalds cups. It'll be designed to fit all perfectly, and a reasonably big hole in terms of depth for the mcdonalds cups to ensure they don't fall over and spill.

omg ur designing a custom console just for maccas cups? why dont you just drink all the drink before you drive off.

just buy one of those plastic can ones or wateva? and mount it somewhere

Why would I drink all my drink before driving off? That'd leave me with nothing to drink with while I'm eating... and those aftermarket clip-on air vent ones suck, plus I've mounted one but the vent is too high up so the big large mcdonalds cups don't fit properly. The centre console will also hold the mcdonalds sundaes, so it's going to be like the maccas tray but for all. It'll also have other purposes, like a 12 can fridge.

Can't you just buy one of them pre made cup holders you can get from autobarn.. of even big w ..... fits over the ash tray and it got 2 holders...
