rental white with grey side skirts, bagged with 20's, nah no way. That's gotta be a chop. Reason: I don't know anyone who would spend as much money as their car is worth almost on bagging it and putting 20's on it, especially a Magna wagon. Please tell us it's a chop?

We can only go on what the pics look like.. With photochopping being so popular these days it certainly looks chopped.

if people are basing its chopped cos the wheel looks un centred in the pic then dont be...when you bag a car the body naturally hangs over causing unbalance in the wheels

i also think there may be no shadow on the rim as the design of rim it is and the sunlight behind the camera.

i look forward to showing the final product. i garrantee all pics are genuine...... im not real good at posting pics but will keep trying as the build goes on. if uve seen the pics already in general then u seen the pics of my old mini truck..... should give some idea fo where im heading........................... :badgrin:

bagged, tint, shaved........mate are you gunna paint the grey side skirts colour coded any time soon? trust me it will look so much better and also make it look lower :)

i like it...... i'd like it better if you changed the wheels tho....... eeeew! just my 2c.... but i love the idea and effort!

If it was black with dark tinting and shaved it might look pretty good, but in its current state, despite its potential, it honestly looks like something I would probably laugh at if I saw it on the road (no pun intended). If the pic hasn't been chopped, you should definitely be modding it further because atm it looks like it's only 1/4 complete. Kinda of like when you see a car on the road with a different coloured bonnet and difference mags.

But ring DOT (i think it is in QLD) and find out more PROPER info.

If you are going to photo chop wheels into a car pic at least get the position of the rear one right, it is way too far forward.

Secondly realise that no Magna ever made has had that amount of wheel arch inside the well so there is no way that wheel will fit inside that gap, unless it has been tubbed and the back doors welded, which I am sure Hertz would be a little upset about :bowrofl:

mal read the post a little bit further back mate a member here who doesnt know the guy has seen it for real and has confirmed its not a photo chop!!!!

I read the whole thread, I still think it is a chop or either that an engineer got the rear suspension back in the wrong place, you I am sure have seen the rear end set up of a magna, there is no way with out spending tens of thousands of dollars that the wheel will fit that far into the arch, even if it did it is way too far forward in the wheel arch

You may have done it, but the pic definetly looks chopped. And poorly at that.
Reflections off the rims should be darker in the wells, even the front wheel looks off.

Wheels seem too bright in comparison to the rest of the pic.

................ y did u move the grass.......... the tyres are to grey.......... you cant tuck that much rim without spending tens of thousands of dollars............. the wheel is to far forward......... how many times do u guys hav to be told THEY ARE REAL........NO CHOPS..... AT ALL! the wheel sits forward because of the radius of the lower control arms..... it tucks that much rim because the tyres are so small 215/30/20.......... :rant:

hehe nice, ppls come check out my spare wheel :P I tried convincing my bro to get a magna wagon and dump it with rims, but he got a commodore wagon with 19s dumped. Either way good to see some wagons dumped with rims :D

There is some unbelievable custom work on the hilux. Who did the doors for you?

Just a curiosity thing, when they did the bags did they remove the upper and lower "wishbones/A arms" and if so what did they use in place of them

thanx guys.... yup baggin the front probably this weekend. COST? well all work is done by myself so its kinda hard to say what someone would charge, the kit set me back $2500 but that is mates rates from burnin customs, i think i saved a few hunderd bucks! as far as fitting the front pretty much bolt in, the rear requires a little bit of fab (cutting and welding) but not to much. because the magnas have a rigid axle wit 4 link the bags pretty much jus go in where the springs came from............ and RYMANS at west gosford done the door conversion on the hilux he also rolled the guards on the wagn.
