Ppl use koni - though my preference would be with Bilstein (I would LOVE Tein - but they don't make them for the Diamante or Magna (mmm electronic ride control))

Hydraulics are evil. May have a practical use in some situations but it's high up in the rice grand scheme of things.

Love your humor, MiG
p.s. where does MiG come from? You a Mikoyan-Gurevich fan?
Well as you just mentioned, MiG comes from the two founders' names and it so happens that it sort of fits my name too (Michael G). Plus I have loved planes since I was about two years old so I decided that MiG is a very appropriate online nick for me, even though I'm not a MiG fan as such.

Cool. I'm a fan of the MiG-29 plus stuff like the Su-27 (and derivatives).
The Russki's have great names like Fagot and Flogger
Would love to have see real footage of real fighting between the US and USSR airforces. Could have been an interesting outcome.
LOL, some of their NATO designated names are pretty funny.
I've got a really crappy quality vid of a Su-37 with thrust vectoring and it can sure do some interesting things in a tight fight. I'm just not sure whether anybody has up close and personal dogfights anymore.
Yeah, MiGs are Russian. Here's a popular one (the MiG-29) that isn't too old:

Whoops, that one isn't quite in pristine condition

I used to try and pull the cobra manouver in one of my flight sims. Couldn't do it though. It's pretty hard. Seen a few vids of accidents.
I've seen the Su-27 do the Cobra maneuver at the Avalon airshow. I don't know why we haven't gotten any russian planes since that one (1994 or 96 airshow I think)

I know. They would be cheap as. They'd need a fair bit repair wise I reckon. But once in top nick I reckon they'd show the Yanks a thing or two. Apparently I heard that Aussie F-111's out did the Yanks in some wargame in the last year. Don't know how truthfull that is but I wonder at what roll that was. Wouldn't imagine an F-111 taking it to an F-16 or F-15. The F-18's might go alright though. I've only seen footage of it, never for real. Wouldn't mind a Rafalle or howoever the heck you spell it.
I meant get them at the airshow. Wouldn't be very PC for our defence force to aquire russian aircraft :)
F-111s never attack aircraft so they definitely wouldn't be taking on F15s or anything. They'd be doing their usual strike stuff.

Yeah, that's right. People would say they were fighter - bombers. I've only ever throught of them as strike aircraft. It's hardly a multirole aircraft, (forgetting about recon roles).
