Booya's old car was a custom gold colour. You'd need to ask him how much it cost though, but I'm pretty sure you're looking upwards of $5000 for a full custom respray including interior and engine bay, depending on colour choice.

What the? $5000.00? Serious? Thats nearly price of my car! I have heard of prices between $600-$2000 maybe and I only say maybe. But thats a cool colour JoKing.

hey man yeah pearl can go straight over your exsiting colour as long as the paint is in good condition it would cost up to about $1500 roughly. that sorta goes for all sorts of pearl paint you could even go the sparkle gillter stuff to go over the colour you have now that would be a lil cheaper to do and stand out alot more.

There's a difference between getting a respray done in the existing colour compared to respraying the whole car in a brand new colour. You can do it on the cheap and not do the insides of the car or engine bay, but think about it, you have to strip the entire car, all the dash, door trims, boot, etc, and take just about everything out of the engine bay.. strip off the old paint, prep, respray everything, cure it, then put it all back in.

Then if you want to go for a chamelion paint or something else expensive and 'different', expect it to cost a pretty penny.

Yep exactly..... Ive got a custom paint job, cant put pics up at the moment cause im at work but hopefully in next few days (its in my avatar though). Just for labour alone it took over 60 hours. The company where it was done would not attempt to do another job like it again for anything under $8000-$9000. Although adimittedly the type of paint it was done with isnt readily available to the public. Let's just say i got it done at pure cost price (no labour/paint at cost price) and it came in at about 2k....so they arent cheap. Although normal custom jobs would be more around the $5k+ mark.

MJ u get ur engine bay n interior done too?

im thinking about getting mine repsrayed further down the line (bonnet needs a repsray, so does the bodykit, side skirts and door moulding still grey) but just same colour, perhaps with a different pearl tho as mine is Sable Black it has a green pearl thru it, im thinking to get a Blue Pearl

so i wouldnt need engine bay n stuff done, just the outside of the car, and AFAIK the clear coat and a few layers of paint would have to be taken off if im keeping it the same colour?
