I would like to know what type of globes are used for high beam, low beam
and the fog lights in a KJ Verada.

thats a good read about globs but I think it would take some time for him to read everything lol. Do read that by the way as I thought white globs were a big deal but they are kind of false advertsing.

I believe the normal headlights are H4
Highbeam do check, for my TE Magna is H3C
and park lights are T10 mostly.

Cheers!

Thanks guys. I have read the info regarding the different types of globes, very informative.
What I actually want to know is the type of globe, H1, H3 etc.

yer mate, your headlights need H1 and H7. (paras)

H1 + H4 for the standard stocky magna vechicals.

Hey dude, here's a little tip for yu - this way you'll never forget which ones you need

Have a look at the headlights (with the bonnet up), and on the very top of the light assembly, you will see 2 metal clips, look in between those clips and you'll see 2 sets of numbers/letters, each telling you which globes you need - they are even in the correct locations so you also wont forget which globe goes on which side.......I wonder how many people have actually seen that

anyway, have a close look, and all of a sudden they will become obvious! :D

My Para's say H7 and H1, with the H7 on the outside, and H1 in the middle

Well I just checked again on my KJ, and I had the postion of the one set of numbers\letters on the headlighs wrong......example, driver side headlight, the number is to the left side of the metal clips......

Thanks for the info guys. I'm pretty sure my KJ Verada does not have H4's so I would say
Ricbec is right on the money. Also according to the manual High and Low beam use
55w globes, not 55/60w as would be specified for a H4.

Heath Young is the local guru on all things illumination & I asked that specific Q...

He sez:-

Parabolic headlamp high beam - H1 55W
Parabolic headlamp low beam - H7 55W
Verada driving lights - H3 55W

I would say you are correct in saying I am right on the money - did you find the H1 - H7 on the headlights?
