Hi all. Well, im in the 'feasibility study' stage of working out info for my engine conversion, and was wondering. In the 2nd gens, is the airbag and ABS controlled by the ECU or do they have separate controllers?

Hi all. Well, im in the 'feasibility study' stage of working out info for my engine conversion, and was wondering. In the 2nd gens, is the airbag and ABS controlled by the ECU or do they have separate controllers?
The airbag controller sits below the centre console box (between the front seat backs). You should
be able to see a 15cmx10cmx2cm silver box.

The abs controller sits in the boot (left side, behind the aerial.

Adding to the list of (maybe) lost functions, what about cruise control? Id say it would be controlled by the ECU
