G'day all. I turn 18 in just over a week and once my 96 Magna Altera is paid off I wish to start modding it. At the moment the only modification made to it is the Pionner Head unit and the Pioneer 6 Stacker. I am trying to deciede if I would rather put new rims and exhaust on first, possibly with extractors. Or if i want to do a sound system first and spend about 1 grand on 2 12"subs n a new head unit n new 6X9's for the baks and 6's for the fronts? oh n dun forget some amps. Any ideas or advice from people already past my situation please let me know what you think. Thanks... Oh n i mite need a new front bumper seeing my mum reversed into my car about a month ago n i aint even got my P's yet n she is smashing it up!

stereo first.
then get ya mods slowly going, remember you are only 18 (me too) insurance will crack the ****s if u get into alot of modding. Get your exhaust before you even think about (if u ever do) lowering the car.

In my situation it would be exhuast and rims etc, but insurance could be a pain for you, so yeah stereo could be the start for you mate.
And you probably dont want too much power while your getting used to driving and aquiring the skills necessary for the road, too many young people die on the roads.

heydude has a very good point..
A Magna can be a handfull in the wet so I would go with the Front Bar then the Stereo..
Get some experience up before looking at performance Mods
( Front bar meaning getting the one you have fixed or Modded, My Dad took off my mirror before me taking ownership so I know how you feel, I bought the car but was not able to drive it till I had sold my other car so I could pay my parents back and in 2 days he had taken the mirror off)

Cheers mate, I still not sure if i want to lower it, i probably wouldnt need to if i got 18's should sit nicley. Yea that is true about the insurance seeing im still finishing off year 12 at this point i dont have a full time job and petrol is going to be taking alot of my money from the looks of it. I still owe my parents a few grand for the car so i guess its going to be an expensive road lol but well worth it

You will definetly need to lower if you get 18's...
*looks out of window at 18's on unlowered car...
Looks rediculous.
