Alrighty, just a bit confused with the choice of clear coat paints that i need.

1) What type of clear coat do i use to gloss over my tinted tail lights?? I need brand names! I did have a spray "white knight" crystal clear acrylic, which turned out really bad :(.

2) I need another 'clear' paint to go over a new paint job. I will be needing a few layers. (This is for console painting). What type of 'clear' do i ask for at the shop? brand names?

i got confused when i was told i need 'clear' coat for both these things, and i didnt think one type of clear coat paint would be suitable for both jobs.
