hello,
i have a wolf 3d version 3 ecu and i am attempting to put it into my tr but it is very difficult does anyone know anybody who will be able to get it running well in western australia
otherwise
is there any other ecu's which i can use instead of the wolf which are easier, i was thinking piggyback

I wont' touch a wolf but can of course do something with a haltech - install and tune.

The new e6x units are a great priced item at around $1350.00 for the base unit with an inbuilt new 2.5 BAR map sensor so basically plug and play so to speak other than some minor wiring work.

installing a v3 onto an astron is pretty easy, im in the process of setting up a v4 on mine, not a big deal, you dont even have to modify the dizzy if you set it up right, easiest way is to remove the whole engine loom, get rid of everything that was for the standard ecu and run the wolf from there, not too dificult, only bit that requires a bit of thought is wiring up the dizzy, any auto electrician could do it with enough $$

it might seem like a big job to start with but its not too bad if you have some idea of how the system works.
