There are cleaners that will get that glue off. I used K+H Wax & Grease Remover (aka prepsol) from Repco... did the trick fine. Just make sure you wash and polish afterwards.

Ah, guys, guys

Some Methylated spirit, some elbow grease and the best to cut and remove the edges is bug and tar remover (the cheapest one will do nicely).

Howgh!

Ok, so what do you guys use to stick the badges back on? I am interested to know as I wont want to use some glue that damages the car boot lit.

im in the same boat as you nexus, to stick it back on id use some double sided tape, most likely the one with the thin layer of foam in between.

o and tinting tail lights is illegal in any state, no matter how much tint you apply

who cares ill be doing it though

I thought so too. Was thinking of putting some badge on my right side if needed. Was considering Rally Art or maybe some Japanese lettering relates to Mitsubishi. Maybe I get my Japanese friend to do a Translation of the Word "Magna" for me lol. Oh well just see how it goes.

ok guys i just debagded and rebagded!

taking off the badges was a pain in the rear end, after slicing through all the badges with fishing wire, for like 30 minutes, i finally take them all off.
only to discover the badges have absolutly no residue on them, its still stcuk on the car, so using bug and tar remover i softened the glue and got it off with a plastic scraper and some rags.

then as of 20 minutes ago (thanks to snu2 for the badge) i rebadged.
(p.s., temagna, im still undecided weather to put the V6 badge on as its a different color  )

sorry about the quality of the last pic, ill try and get a better one soon
